JUST ANNOUNCED: Dates and full itineraries for our 2010 Agent Familiarization trips. Each year we offer a series of familiarization trips which aim to introduce our agents to the Exotissimo destinations and to showcase our best excursions, guides, and other products. This year we are pleased to offer several programs in September to each of our destination countries.
This 8-day program is one of our best selling itineraries, looping from Yangon to Bagan, Mandalay and Inle Lake. Highlights include: monk blessing and donation at Shwedagon Pagoda, lunch at a toddy farm in Bagan, sunset cocktails at U Bein bridge, lunch in a bamboo forest near Inle Lake and a ride on Yangon’s circle train.
North to South journey covering Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and a day trip to the Mekong Delta. Highlights include: a private walking tour through a hidden corner of Hanoi, Tra Que village visit and cooking demo in Hoi An, lunch in a monastery in Hue and a biking trip in Saigon’s outskirts.
Taking you through the culturally diverse and historically fascinating region of Isaan, this 10-day trip also includes stops in Ayutthaya and Sukhothai. This three-day program is timed so that it can be an addition to our Thailand and Vietnam tours and features more than just temples. Highlights include: Monk blessing in a temple, a sunset tethered balloon flight, traveling through rural roads by cow cart and a lunch in a floating village on the Tonle Sap Lake.
Traveling from Siem Reap, north along the Mekong and into Southern Laos this is an ‘Exo favorite’ route. The program continues to Vientiane and Luang Prabang, but those just wanting to do the ‘Trail’ can shorten the routing. Highlights include: Sambor Prey Kuk temples, island cycling (or horsecart) near Kratie with tree planting, boat trip near Stung Treng, coffee tasting session in the Bolovan Plateau, visit to Wat Phou, traditional sin dat barbeque dinner, sightseeing by electric bike and a dinner cruise on the Nava Mekong.
Showcasing the culture and rugged beauty of northern Laos, our 4 day tour explores the charming city of Luang Prabang before heading up the Mekong River for an overnight stay at Kamu Lodge. Highlights include: Evening Baci ceremony, cruise on the Nava Mekong, sightseeing by electric bike, overnight stay and village activities at the eco-resort Kamu Lodge.
